Firefox Stops Working When I Try to Upload Anything

Firefox crashes every time I try to upload a file.

If I go to upload a file following an attachment prompt in a website and in gmail, immediately after I click a spider web push button for "browse" firefox will crash and my machine will country that the typical Windows fault "Firefox has stopped working: a trouble caused the program to stop working correctly.
